We love using the high-quality silicone moulds from Nicole Boowan. This mould is designed for candle wax, but you can of course also use other casting materials such as Jesmonite. We have had good experiences with casting in this way: * Insert the wick into the casting mould: To do this, pierce a hole in the material with a needle, for example, if it is not already there. Don't worry - even with a wick hole, you can still use the casting mould for Jesmonite without it leaking * Now place the shells around the silicone mould and seal them well with rubber bands or adhesive tape. We like to use adhesive tape. * then you heat the wax. For a great wax surface, the wax must not be too hot or the temperature difference between the mould and the wax should not be too great The dimensions of the cast mould are 6cm x 6cm x 15cm The mould is made of high-quality silicone (Platinum Food-Grade Silicone) and has been certified by the FDA and CE as non-toxic, food-safe, ultra-stable, skin-friendly, durable and robust.
